Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at mesotherapystore@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Mesotherapy is a non-surgical cosmetic technique that involves delivering microscopic quantities of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids into the mesoderm (the middle layer of the skin). This method is used to rejuvenate and tighten skin, reduce cellulite, promote weight loss, and treat hair thinning by nourishing the skin specifically where it is needed most.

The choice of ingredients depends on the treatment goal, but the most frequently used active agents include:

  • Hyaluronic Acid: For deep hydration and volume.
  • Vitamins (A, C, E): For antioxidant protection and brightness.
  • Peptides: To stimulate collagen production.
  • L-Carnitine & Caffeine: For lipolysis (fat breakdown)      and cellulite reduction.
  • Organic Silicon: For skin firming and structural support.
  • DMAE: For an immediate lifting effect.

  • Facial: Anti-aging (wrinkle reduction), "Glow" treatments      (brightness), and deep hydration protocols.
  • Body: Lipolytic protocols (localized fat reduction), anti-cellulite      treatments, and skin tightening for sagging areas (arms, abdomen).
  • Capillary (Hair): Hair loss prevention and hair follicle stimulation      cocktails to promote growth and thickness.

Techniques vary by professional preference and regulation:

  • Point-by-Point: Deep injections at specific intervals.
  • Nappage: Rapid, superficial injections to cover larger areas.
  • Papule Technique: Leaving small deposits of product in the dermis.
  • Microneedling (Dermapen): Using a device with fine needles      to create micro-channels for product absorption (transdermal delivery).

To ensure safety and efficacy, we suggest:

  1. Strict Sterility: Always use sterile, single-use needles and      high-quality sanitized equipment.
  2. Comprehensive Consultation: Understand the client’s medical      history before any procedure.
  3. Product Knowledge: Know the pH and interaction of every ingredient you      mix or apply.
  4. Post-Care Education: Clearly explain to the client how to care for their      skin at home to maximize results.
  5. Continuous Training: Stay updated on the latest protocols and safety      standards in the industry.

In the United States, traditional mesotherapy involving injections is considered the practice of medicine. Therefore, it typically requires a medical license (MD, DO, NP, or PA). In many states, Estheticians are restricted to non-invasive transdermal delivery methods (such as microneedling at shallow depths or electroporation), provided it falls within their state board's scope of practice. Always verify your specific State Board regulations.

(Added to complete the list of 10) Frequency depends on the condition being treated. Generally, a standard protocol involves a series of 4–6 sessions spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart. Once the desired result is achieved, maintenance treatments are recommended every 3 to 6 months.

No. Results vary significantly because "one size does not fit all." The selection of active ingredients must be customized based on:

  • Patient Age & Skin Type.
  • Specific Problem to Correct: (e.g., loose skin vs. fat).
  • Size of the Area.
  • Hormonal Issues & Physical Activity.
  • Dietary Habits. It is crucial for the professional to visually assess      the treatment area and gather this data to design a personalized protocol      that guarantees the best outcome.

  • Dermapen/Smart Pen: Uses physical microneedles to create channels for      product entry and stimulates collagen.
  • Electroporation: Uses electrical pulses to temporarily open pores for      product absorption (needle-free).
  • Cavitation & Ultrasound: Uses sound waves primarily to      break down fat cells or penetrate products via phonophoresis.
  • Laser: Uses light energy for resurfacing or pigment correction.
  • Topical Massage: Relies on manual manipulation; it has the lowest      product penetration rate compared to the device-assisted methods above.

  • Pre-Protocol: Ensure the skin is completely clean and disinfected. Patients      should avoid blood thinners (like aspirin) 24 hours prior to prevent      bruising.
  • Hygiene: The professional must wear gloves and a mask, and the workspace      must be sanitized.
  • Post-Protocol: The patient should avoid direct sun exposure, saunas,      or intense exercise for 24–48 hours. Using a high-SPF sunscreen is      mandatory to protect the treated area.
